Identification wanted

Dear friends,
many years ago a taped a piece from a German radio show. Although I have little information to offer, maybe someone can still help.
What I heard is obviously the Main Theme to a Golden Age score, very likely by Alfred Newman. It starts with the famous 20th Century Fox Fanfare. The fanfare slides over in an "Allegro con Moto" style music piece with some exotic instruments that give the music an oriental feeling. At about 2:00 min, the music suddenly incorporates the Fox Fanfare again, this time with more instruments (especially in the brass section), and from there takes it into a big and loud glorious ending at around 2:40 min time. Can anyone identify this score? Thanks in advance,
