New this week to lighten up your Easter Holidays.
13-Apr-2001 - Here we go! On Universal two releases: Patrick Doyle's latest Bridget Jones's Diary (only one track, rest songs!) and Marc Shaiman's One Night At McCool's (also only one track). Hopefully one day the scores will be released.
A new release from Chapter III: Spy Kids with - believe it or not! - music by John Debney, Danny Elfman, Gavin Greenaway, Harry Gregson-Williams, Chris Boardman and Heitor Pereira. Looks like there is a new Media Ventures!?
On Dreamworks an orchestral score for the video game Medal Of Honor: Underground with music by Michael Giacchino. And Jellybean Records released Beautiful Creatures, a song compilation with only two score tracks from Murray Gold.
Varese also collected a bunch of composers for Just Visiting. The cover says John Powell did the score, but no less than six composers were involved. Amongst them Nick Glennie-Smith and Gavin Greenaway.
Michael Galasso did the score for In The Mood For Love, the new Wong Kar-wai movie. Omtown released the CD.
And there is a re-release on GDM of Ennio Morricone's exciting Cop Killer.
