Armando Trovajoli's I Mostri/Il Gaucho
2-Nov-2006 - GDM Music has released a CD with the scores of the classic Italian movies I Mostri(1963) and Il Gaucho(1964), directed by Dino Risi, and with music by Armando Trovajoli. Of the score for Il Mostri (starring Vittorio Gassman and Ugo Tognazzi) only 4 tracks were released in 1963 on a 45rpm. On this CD the complete score with those four tracks, including the famous main theme Samoa Tamoure and nine previously unreleased tracks. The twelve tracks for Il Gaucho (again starring Vittorio Gassman, Nino Manfredi, Silvana Pampanini and Amedeo Nazzari) were never released until today, including the main theme La Cumbia De Manuela. The original master tapes were digitally remastered under the supervision of Maestro Trovajoli.
