And the winner is...
16-Jan-2007 - At the 64th Golden Globe Annual Awards was also a Golden Globe for Best Original Score for a Motion Picture. And the winner? Alexandre Desplat for his superb score for The Painted Veil, the story of a woman, who becomes dissatisfied with her marriage, as her husband favors of his research over time with her. An affair leads her on a journey of self-discovery, and her new dedication to fighting cholera brings her to the Far East. The music is composed, orchestrated, conducted and produced by Alexandre Desplat and has been recorded in Prague at The Dvorák Hall in August 2006. The Golden Globe for the Best Original Song for a Motion Picture went to Happy Feet, for the song The Song Of The Heart, performed by Prince.
