David Arnold's Godzilla
8-Aug-2007 - La-La Land Records has released the first ever official, studio-endorsed release of composer David Arnold’s astounding orchestral score to the 1998 TriStar Pictures release of Godzilla, directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno and Hank Azaria. This limited edition (3000 copies), 2-disc set (nearly 2 full hours of music), contains David Arnold’s complete score, which has been praised as one of the finest action scores of the 90’s. The music was scored at the Sony Scoring Stage in Culver City. The 98-piece orchestra and the large choir were conducted by Nicholas Dodd.
