Martin Kiszko's The Killing Of John Lennon
4-Feb-2008 - From Film Music Downloads comes the winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival, The Killing Of John Lennon, directed by Andrew Piddington (The Fall). The movie features a strong, dark and ominous original score by British composer Martin Kiszko (best known for his tv scores The Uninvited, The Human Sexes and Realms of the Russian Bear). Kiszko is one of UK's most prolific tv composers with over 200 scores to his credit. He has also written concert works such as cantatas and he is currently writing an opera, Darwin: The Odyssey. The Killing Of John Lennon is shot documentary-style with grainy photography and Martin Kiszko's atmospheric, and often rhythm-laiden score adds a strong and deeply emotional quality to the realistic pictures.
