Trevor Rabin to score The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Star Nicolas Cage, director Jon Turteltaub, producer
Jerry Bruckheimer and composer Trevor Rabin
continue their joint ventures after the two National
Treasure movies. According to Walt Disney Pictures,
Rabin has been hired to score The Sorcerer’s
Apprentice, a fantasy movie starring Cage as a
sorcerer whose broomstick develops a mind of its
own. Other cast members include Jay Baruchel and
Alfred Molina.
The film is scheduled to be released next year.
Trevor Rabin’s close association with Walt Disney
Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer goes back
to Remembering the Titans and he has scored
several pictures for the studio, including the
upcoming action adventure Race to Witch
Mountain, due out in cinemas this week, and
G-Force, the action movie which combines
live-action with CG.
