Dimitri Tiomkin's The Alamo
14-May-2010 - Prometheus Records and Tadlow Music have released Dimitri Tiomkin's complete score for the classic The Alamo. Performed by the Acclaimed and Award-Winning City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Crouch End Festival Chorus Conducted by Nic Raine, this 3 CD-set is newly recorded in stunning and Dynamic Digital Sound and contains over 160 minutes of music and over 100 minutes of previously unreleased music. All original orchestrations from 1960 have been used. Including 27 minutes of bonus material and including alternative cues. The “Ballad of the Alamo” and “Here’s to the Ladies” are performed by Star of the West End David Shannon. And the Crouch End Festival Chorus performs the classic “The Green Leaves of Summer”.
