Film Score Monthly's new releases
14-Dec-2001 - The December releases of Film Score Monthly are out now. In the Golden Age Classics series, Leigh Harline's score for Broken Lance (1954) is presented complete (save for one short cue which was lost) and in chronological order, remixed from the original six-track masters.
If you want to hear the world's most famous film composer write Arab go-go music, here's your chance! John Goldfarb, Please Come Home (1965) is an early score by John Williams that makes for a fascinating listen, as the composer displays amazing versatility and skill, even when creating an Arab dance version of the Notre Dame Fight Song.
