13-Sep-2011 - La-La Land Records presents its latest Expanded Archival Collection release, Jerry Goldsmith's score to the 1992 Warner Bros. romantic fantasy Forever Young. Lush, adventurous and timelessly romantic, Mr. Goldsmiths soaring orchestral score is among the most notable of the latter half of his astounding career. Produced by MV Gerhard and remastered by James Nelson, this expanded release runs nearly 75 minutes, featuring a wealth of previously unreleased music, along with bonus alternate cues and album version tracks. In-depth liner notes from film music writer Daniel Schweiger features new comments from the director. This is a limited edition of 3000 copies.
 
Also from La-La Land Records, together with Sony Music and 20th Century Fox, a remastered and expanded release of Jerry Goldsmith’s orchestral score to the 1991 Twentieth Century Fox blockbuster thriller Sleeping With The Enemy. Mr. Goldsmith’s expert scoring finds the perfect meld of brooding suspense, terrifying jolts and hopeful romance, giving this hit thriller a large measure of its depth and resonance. Produced by Nick Redman and Didier C. Deutsch, restored by Mike Matessino and remastered by Daniel Hersch, this special release is expanded with more than 15 minutes of previously unreleased music. Insightful liner notes are provided by film music writer Julie Kirgo. This is a limited edition of 3500 copies.
