For this story of loneliness and madness of the mind, Ennio Morricone has succeeded to admirably represent all of the emotional state of the protagonist with little but effective contemporary type music that creates a sense of anguish intentionally disturbing, yet fascinating. The composer assembled a suite of takes, which was titled Requiem Per Un Destino, for orchestra and choir. With the consent of Maestro Morricone a bonus track was added from the concert suite in mono, remastered and restored, Venuta Dal Mare (14:35) from Ecce Homo - I Sopravvissuti.
