Barnaby Taylor's Wild Arabia
3-May-2013 - Silva Screen has released Wild Arabia, composer Barnaby Taylor’s spellbinding score to BBC’s first major series on wildlife, wild places and extraordinary people of the vast Arabian peninsula. Barnaby Taylor is an Emmy award winning film and TV composer, with an extensive catalogue of screen music that includes Wild China, Ganges, Journey Of Life and Europe: A Natural History. Recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra at Abbey Road, the score consists of sweeping melodies juxtaposed with solo traditional instruments and encompasses a full string section, brass, solo woodwinds, harp, percussion and timpani. The end result is a soundtrack that perfectly compliments the romantic journey into the very heart of a lost world.
