Silva Screen has announced the date and tracklisting for the upcoming Doctor Who Series 7 soundtrack. It comes on two CDs and features 74 tracks in total. Two Bonus tracks will be available on the iTunes download. The CDs will be sold in a special gatefold wallet, but this is limited to only the first 5000 copies, after which the package will be a double jewel case. Sales of Murray Golds Doctor Who soundtracks have now topped the 100,000 mark and with an eighteen month gap between releases, Series 7 has been long awaited by fans. Uniquely this series was made up of 13 self-contained stories and this 2 CD set offers a feast of new themes with music from each and every story and is the eighth soundtrack release since 2006. It is due for release 9 September 2013.
