The story: in a desperate attempt to throw the hanging evil off her son's life – a priest in the south of Italy, a woman follows with anxiety and trepidation the evolution of the feelings that overwhelm the soul of the young man, trying to convince him to give up his love for a woman and to respect that tacit commitment to which he was bound since he was a child when she, poor maid widow, wanted to be the mother of a priest. The agony of the man, torn between passion and faith, will clash with the morbid obsessions of the mother. The music is composed by Francesco de Luca and Alessandro Forti.
