26-Jun-2002 - On 16 October, the Flanders International Film Festival presents Elle! Louise Brooks in the Ghent Opera House. Georg Wilhelm Pabst's silent classic Diary Of A Lost Girl (Das Tagebuch einer Verlorene, 1929), starring the legendary Louise Brooks, forms the basis of this very original production. Italian composer Roberto Tricarri wrote a new score that will be performed live, while German actress Hanna Schygulla (best known for her collaborations with Rainer Werner Fassbinder) performs, adding narration and songs.
