Patrick Watson's The 9th Life Of Louis Drax
3-Sep-2016 - Varèse Sarabande has released the score for The 9th Life of Louis Drax, a supernatural thriller that has echoes of The Sixth Sense and Gone Girl. It's the story of a psychologist who begins working with a young boy who has suffered a near-fatal fall finds himself drawn into a mystery that tests the boundaries of fantasy and reality. The score is composed by the Award winning Canadian singer-songwriter, Patrick Watson. His 2007 album, Close to Paradise, won the Polaris Music Prize as the best Canadian album of that year, while his 2009 follow-up, Wooden Arms, was also a finalist. Watson has since become a popular touring artist and released another two well-received album. The 9th Life of Louis Drax is his first soundtrack project.
