26-Aug-2002 - Jean-François Houben has written an impressive book, 1000 Compositeurs De Cinéma. Although the book is written in French, it's not difficult to read for someone who does not speak French.
For each composer there is a short biography with the essential facts. The second part is a bibliography for those people who want to read more about a composer. And there is a discography for each composer, with the titles in French and in the original language. And when a composer has his own website, you will find that also in this book.
1000 Compositeurs De Cinéma is a very useful book for soundtrack collectors.
