In collaboration with Musiques & Solutions, Music Box Records is pleased to present for the first time on CD the original motion picture soundtrack of Roger Kahane's Madly (The Love Mates, 1970) composed by Francis Lai and conducted by Christian Gaubert. Produced by Alain Delon, Madly advocates for sexual freedom (at least from a masculine point of view). After the commercial success of Love Story, Alain Delon chose Francis Lai to work on the project. The score features many neoromantic pieces that allow Francis Lai’s melodic talent to shine (combined with Christian Gaubert’s ultra-elegant arrangements).
