Prime Video has released the soundtrack for the second season of The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings of Power. The album features selections of the original score from Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day1 + 2). as well as two new songs featuring vocalists Rufus Wainwright (Old Tom Bombadil) and Jens Kidman (The Last Ballad of Damrod).

Series stars Sophia Nomvete, Benjamin Walker, Rory Kinnear & Daniel Weyman also lend their vocals to several tracks on the soundtrack, which is now digitally available everywhere and can also be listened to on streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

Mutant will release a CD and vinyl edition, which are both now available for pre-order. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is developed by J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay based on stories by J.R.R. Tolkien and also stars Morfydd Clark, Sir Lenny Henry, Sara Zwangobani. Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry Nazanin Boniadi, Charles Edwards, Markella Kavenagh,Trystan Gravelle, Ema Horvath, Megan Richards, Lloyd Owen, Tyroe Muhafidin, Dylan Smith, Leon Wadham and Charlie Vickers.

The second season of Rings of Power will premiere on August 29 on Prime Video. As with the first season, following each episode, Amazon Music will release a weekly soundtrack album containing the score for that episode.
