Ennio Morricone's Arena Concerto
1-Feb-2004 - In 2003 Ennio Morricone conducted the Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta in the Arena of Verona in Italy. Euphonia has released the DVD, Ennio Morricone Arena Concerto with a registration of the concert. Warner Music has released a CD with highlights from the concert, like Once Upon a Time in America, The Legend Of 1900, The Mission, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, Once Upon a Time in The West, Cinema Paradiso etc. The extras on the DVD include half-an-hour of piano, cello and flute pieces, and an interview with the Maestro himself. The video registration of the concert was done by his son, Giovanni Morricone.
