Leigh Harline's The Enemy Below
28-Jun-2004 - Intrada has released in their Special Collection series The Enemy Below (1957), a 20th Century-Fox WWII actioner with Robert Mitchum and Curt Jurgens. Here is Leigh Harline's complete score presented in stereo from master elements vaulted in excellent condition. Bonus tracks offer Theodore Bikel vocal, military band march, Harline's fully-composed "radar pings" and other source music. Liner notes by Jeff Bond bring insight to the film production. Lionel Newman conducts. Limited edition of 1000 pressings.
