Mark Isham's Racing Stripes
15-Jan-2005 - In Racing Stripes, one of the latest Varèse Sarabande's releases, live action and computer animation combine to tell the heartwarming tale of a baby zebra named Stripes (Muniz), who is accidentally abandoned by a traveling circus during a rainstorm. The helpless zebra foal is discovered by horse trainer Nolan Walsh (Bruce Greenwood), who rescues Stripes and takes him home to live with him and his young daughter Channing (Hayden Panettiere) on their modest Kentucky farm. The touching and exciting music score is by jazz great Mark Isham, who has previously scored the family hit Fly Away Home. The soundtrack also features the new, original song Inside Rail, composed and performed by Sting, as well as It Ain’t Over Yet, a new song by Bryan Adams.
