Evanthia Reboutsika's Touch Of Spice

4-Apr-2005 - Colosseum Records has released the soundtrack of A Touch Of Spice (Greek title: Politiki Kouzina), a current blockbuster in Greece. Its the story about a young Greek boy (Fanis) growing up in Istanbul, whose grandfather, a culinary philosopher and mentor, teaches him that both food and life require a little salt to give them flavour, they both require A TOUCH OF SPICE. For the score composer Evanthia Reboutsika creates a heartlifting combination of elements of western musical expression and the rich eastern musical tradition. The Symphonic Orchestra of the Bulgarian Radio Network, conducted by Boris Spassov, gives the appropriate colour and depth needed for this story, which was filmed mainly in Istanbul.
