Herschel Burke Gilbert's Burke's Law
6-Jun-2005 - Harkit Records has released the music for the TV series Burke's Law. Gene Barry played the character of Amos Burke, a Los Angeles chief of detectives who was also a millionaire who always drove around in his Rolls Royce positing absurdities which became known as "Burke's Law" in this 1960's television series. The highly original and jazzy score was by Herschel Burke (any relation?) Gilbert. Beautifully restored and available for the first time on CD in stereo with a nice 20 page booklet featuring masses of everything ever needed to know about the programme and packed with rare photos too!
