I International Conference on Movie Music “Ciudad de Úbeda”.
29-Jun-2005 - Bsospirit.com and the Úbeda City Council organize the I International Conference on Movie Music “Ciudad de Úbeda”, wich will take place in July, 22nd, 23 rd y 24 th in the Hospital de Santiago (Úbeda, Spain).
This Conference is an opportunity for movie music professionals and fans to meet each other and allows ideas interchange and discussion in a distended atmosphere.
This event has no precedents in Spain and a group of prestigous guests are attending it. Not only national but international: Don Davis (Matrix Trilogy composer), Brian Tyler (Constantine), John Frizzell (Jurasic Park III), Sean Callery (24), Lucio Godoy (Mondeys in the Sun and El Penalti más Largo del Mundo) and Pablo Sala (Tapas). And other Spanish composers: Ángel Illarramendi (The Bride´s Son), Diego Navarro (La Puerta del Tiempo), Sergio Moure (Insconcientes), Francesc Gener (Lobo) and Pablo Cervantes (director José Luis Garcia's usual composer).
Between Spanish experts we can mention: José María Benítez, Roberto Cueto, Joan Padrol, Heriberto Navarro or Conrado Xalabarder.
There will be aditonal activities like conferences, with the participation of those guests or a Disc Fair in the Congress location.
On July 23, the Goldspirit Movie Music Awards will be presented during a spectacular evening ceremony.
