Meet the composer: animation composer Mark Waters.
Film Music Institute announces the latest in a new series of special workshops designed to deliver an up-close and personal experience with the industry's top composers. The workshop has two parts - you can sign up for the morning session only, or the morning session plus a private one-on-one session with the featured composer.
They are now offering their seminars and workshops at the new state-of-the-art facilities at Pepperdine University, located conveniently off the 405 freeway just north of LAX airport in the new Howard Hughes Center.
Their next workshop features one of the very top animation composers, Mark Watters. If you have an interest in scoring animation projects, or want to expand your business in this direction, Mark Watters will provide you with the specific techniques, business ideas, creative direction, and more to help you become more successful at writing for animated film and television projects. In addition to creative issues, Mark will focus on how animation composers can find work, retain work, and build their reputations in this special field.
