Milan's Silver Screen Edition
7-Aug-2005 - Milan Records has launched two new releases in their Silver Screen Edition series. Ghost (1990) became one of the most popular films. Not only did Ghost reach the top of America's film and soundtrack charts, but grossed half a billion dollars in worldwide ticket sales. The heartfelt score by Maurice Jarre is digitally remastered. As an extra there is an exclusive interview with the composer. The other Silver Screen Edition release is The Usual Suspects (1995). At times tender, sometimes brutally riveting, this dynamic score alone demonstrates John Ottman's ability to delve into a variety of musical styles and bizarre orchestral techniques, while at the same time carying out a definitive signature of his own. The music is digitally remastered and there is an interview with the composer on this disc.
