Ennio Morricone's Tre Donne
16-Sep-2005 - Digitmovies has released a double-CD with the original score composed by Ennio Morricone in 1971 for the 4 TV movies called Tre Donne, starring the Italian diva Anna Magnani in one of her latest roles. In his music Ennio Morricone has captured musically with great passion all those historical and psychological elements of the four stories. This double-CD is the result of the strong cooperation with CAM Film Music Archives under the supervision of Ennio Morricone. All the original stereo master tapes survived and enabled producer Luca Di Silverio to release the most complete presentation of this superb score. While relistening the complete tapes, Mr. Morricone decided to reject some of the LP existing tracks in favour of newly discovered takes. As a result there is this double-CD with 30 tracks with a total time of almost 98 minutes! A must-have for not only the Morricone fan, but for every film music lover..!
