New from Digitmovies
25-Sep-2005 - Digitmovies presents the world premiere CD-reissue of the music score by Gianni Ferrio for La Morte Risale A Ieri Sera, a drama directed in 1970 by Duccio Tessari. For this CD the original stereo tapes of the 1970 Cinevox LP MDF 33/35 were located and they were in terrific sound conditions. By searching for the complete tapes, Digitmovies soon realized that all the recorded music for the movie filled the original LP. But the real big discovery were two songs that were not enclosed in the original OST album and they are now two very rare bonus tracks on the CD.
Digitmovies also celebrates its sixth volume dedicated to the great Bruno Nicolai’s Italian Giallo scores, releasing on CD the World Premiere complete stereo recording (again thanks to the great cooperation of the amazing C.A.M. film music archives) of the score from the movie La Notte Che Evelyn Uscì Dalla Tomba, directed in 1971 by Emilio P. Miraglia. Bruno Nicolai has written a magnificent orchestral score dominated by a romantic love theme for trumpet and orchestra with a western flavour, where the voice of Edda Dell’Orso is heard.
