Dimitri Tiomkin's The Guns Of Navarone
7-Oct-2005 - Tadlow Music has released the world premiere recording of the complete film score for The Guns Of Navarone. This new digital recording of Dimitri Tiomkin's superb music has been performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus, conducted by Nic Raine. The CD includes 25 minutes of previously unrecorded music. Film music historian and journalist David Wishart: "The Prague orchestra is really on top form. The score is now revealed in all its true glory. This is one of the truly great film music recordings!”.
