Fiorenzo Carpi Ritratto Di Un Autore
11-Oct-2005 - CAM Original Soundtracks in Italy has released a unique compilation CD, Ritratto Di Un Autore, for a composer who wrote the music for a large number of memorable film scores, Fiorenzo Carpi. He was also the in-house musician for the famous Milan theatre directed by Giorgio Strehler, Il Piccolo Teatro di Milano, for which he composed over 130 scores. This CD represents an overview of some of his most outstanding and unforgettable tunes, including previously unreleased material. It varies from Parigi, O Cara, the 1962 film by Vittorio Caprioli, to L'Avventure Di Pinocchio, the 1972 film by Luigi Comencini and, again by Luigi Comencini, the 1991 film Marcellino Pane E Vino. No re-recordings, but the original music.
