The Music Of Georges Delerue For The Films Of Jack Clayton
4-Nov-2005 - Disques Cinémusique has released their fifth new recording of Georges Delerue music, The Music Of Georges Delerue For The Films Of Jack Clayton. The CD features the most significant score selections from five films from the British director Jack Clayton between 1964 and 1992. The five films are The Pumpkin Eater, Our Mother's House, Something wicked this way comes, The Lonely Passion Of Judith Hearne, and Memento Mori. It's a world premiere on disc for half of them. All music has been arranged by Robert Lafond and, together with a number of soloists, also performed by him. The 20-page booklet includes many stills from the movies with extensive liner notes in English and in French.
