Cyril Morin's Zaïna - Cavalière De L'Atlas

19-Nov-2005 - Naïve France has released the score for Zaïna - Cavalière De L'Atlas. It's the story of Zaïna who, in an attempt to escape from the powerful Omar, decides to follow her father who leads the tribe's precious thoroughbreds to the prestigious race of Agdal. During this long and perilous trip across the Atlas mountains in northern Africa, father and daughter gradually become attached and begin to love each other.The beautiful music, created by Cyril Morin, has an oriental flavour, like he used in the fantastic score he composed for The Syrian Bride. The performance of the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra is sometimes overwhelming and always impressive.
