Answers

you can buy it from:
www.screenarchives.com
www.intrada.com

and some other few stores.

I bet it will sold out till it will reach amazon, and if it will then only some private guys will sell it there for lot more than 119$.

so grab that thing while you can!!

It is available in Europe, too.
See: www.soundtrackcorner.de
The price is € 99,50 which is cheaper than to order it directly from SAE because of the local VAT.

i seriously doubt that it is from europe cheaper than from the u.s. at least not for my country.

on what is your information based please?

here in europe I would pay in my currency 100€ times 33,5 = 3350 credits.
in the u.s. it would be 119$ times 22,5 = 2677 credits. And I paid.
without shipping of course for both calculations.

so where is it cheaper?

I have been buying CDs from amazon.com for a long time. the prices because of the lowe dollar on the world market are 40% to 50% less than here or europe in generall. I get 2 CDs for the price one.

take care!

If the delivery gets caught in customs you usually have to pay whatever VAT is in your country + taxes + fee from the postal company or whoever does the taxation.

In Denmark where I come from and where VAT is 25% and taxes 3½% or something that would mean that the $119 would become 119 x 1.285 = 152.91 plus I would have to pay $30 extra in taxation fee: 152.91 + 30 = 181.91 approx 900 Danish kroner whereas 100 euro is 750 Danish kroner....

I think that's what the guys above mean... Of course you can always be lucky and the set won't get caught in customs and then the American dealer is clearly the less expensive.

So it all depends on what the VAT and Tax is set at in your country I guess and if you have ice in your stomach.

Have a nice day, amigos.

yes, the customs could be a problem. but I have been lucky by now, hope I will be in future as well. I am not familiar with our customs laws, so maybe cds are without tax. my orders from the u.s. have been without any customs tax, even orders over 100$.
fingers crossed for superman blue box :)
take care!

I have raised the issue of CD prices in regards US and European sites before when tax and shipping is taken into consideration here

http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/forum/displayquestion.php?topicid=9365

I live in the U.K and always buy from the US If possible as even If I am unlucky enough to get stung by import tax (rarely) I still pay less than If I'd bought fom Europe.

No cds are not without tax, you have just been lucky. You should do what I do and ask the seller to tick the gift box on the customs form and if they refuse, then you refuse to buy from them!
