Hopefully you paid with a credit card, in which case you can just contact your credit card company and file a charge dispute and they'll reverse the charges. Otherwise, if you paid by cash, check, or money order, you can probably kiss your money goodbye unless you're willing to file a lawsuit to retrieve your funds. If that's the case then you'll probably have to wait in line as it seems that they're in a heap of financial trouble as it is.

P.S. I hate to say "we told you so" but there have been several warnings about Supercollector's shady business practices posted in this forum. It's too bad you didn't read (or heed) them before you became another one of their victims:

P.P.S. In my experience, the following online soundtrack retailers have always been reliable, and therefore I recommended them highly:

www.intrada.com
www.screenarchives.com
www.intermezzomedia.com
www.arksquare.com
www.dustygroove.com
www.footlight.com

none of them had the soundtrack I ordered, the "Splash" Promo cd.

I have an original copy of the Splash promo CD that I'd be willing to sell for $50 (shipping included).

no thanks, it's not worth that much to me.

Just went to the Comic-Con convention in San Diego. Supercollector is usually present for this function, but they were surprisingly absent this year. Word on the street is that they have finally gone bankrupt - probably because of their shady and unreliable business practices.

I used to live about ten minutes from their Garden Grove, CA location, and they had three guys trying to run the whole place. They only time they answered an email is when I said I lived nearby, heh heh.

I guess I got lucky... I only did business with them once with Revell's Pitch
Black/Bride of Chuck promo. I got it quickly. Didn't have a problem with
them.

or when that was around, they were actually doing ok?

Yes, they were very much O.K. for a while. Unfortunately, now they are done for.

It's a shame, they had a great collection, were very friendly and very very fast (I ordered twice with them and I had the stuff within a week - and I live in Switzerland!). I also talked to them on the phone and they were very helpful. It's really a shame they went out like that - it now kills their whole reputation (which was excellent for a while).

R.I.P., Supercollectors... Now back to good luck when it comes to promos...

Best,
Burnie
